Tribute:"Today I would like to pay tribute to a great woman and mentor†I would like to share with you someone in my life who has influenced me greatly, our beloved Coordinator Mrs. Vasantha Panchapakesan. We little knew the day God was going to call her name and it broke all our hearts as she has not just gone but a limb has fallen from the family tree of this Institution. You are gone but thank you for all soft and sweet things you have left behind in our institution. Her memory is a treasure and her life a message. She was loved beyond words and so missed beyond measures. It’s hard to start an academic era when we know someone we all loved and respected won’t be there with us. She has left behind beautiful memories and bountiful duties with us. Although we cannot see her, her love will still guide us in all our deeds. Her soul is at rest but her heart and memories live on here every morning, noon and night. Madam, we don’t want to remember you with tears or with sadness but with triumphs and victories. She is still green in my memory when she comes to the college on most of the evenings for a stroll in the ground opposite Ramar Koil,with Ramani as a kid with his tiny Lolakus! ( he was having his Ayush Homam lolakkus for quite a long time!) She always had a friendly smile acknowledging the students when they fondle Ramani! Such a simple and graceful Maam , an epitome of divine charm and totally unassuming!! She will be like a ‘neighbourhood Akka ‘! I pray for her soul to rest in peace ! I’m sure she will take care of the institution as benevolently as she was doing when alive!🙏🙏 Pranams to you madam!

Tribute:The year 2020 has been an unprecedented one both worldwide and in the history of Padmabhushan Sri. N. Ramaswami Ayyar Educational Complex. The complex has lost one of our noble souls who was attached to each one of us in her own unique way. Mrs. Vasantha Panchapakesan was a mentor, guide and friend to most of us on campus. I've known her ever since I was a student of SRC in the early 70's.In the 80's. I was drawn to her and inspired too. It was in this period I saw her raising her two young boys with dedication and fervor. "Never ever discourage your kids'', she often remarked and that served a valuable lesson for me in future. The same precept, I applied to my student community and it bore fruit. In the last 30 years the institutions have had the opportunity to be in the midst of a dynamic Coordinator who was filled with compassion and love for her teachers, students and staff. She has touched all our lives. Our only wish is, she could have been with us for a few more years. Ohm Shanti!
