Career Guidance & Placement Cell was established in the year 1996 at Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College, Tiruchirappalli, which provides Counseling and Guidance to students, arrange campus interviews, provide job market information and necessary inputs to face the interviews. The Placement Cell is committed to carry all possible assistance to its graduates and post-graduates in their efforts to find employment. CGPC plays a major role in shaping up the career goals of students and gear up the skills and enhance the performance of the students to face the emerging challenges. The CGPC operates year round to facilitate contacts between recruiters and graduates. A team of Placement Officers are available to respond to student’s queries and concerns of all kinds regarding training and placement. This includes advice on placement procedures, guidelines to prepare applications and resumes and mock interviews. Besides, it also facilitates training programs for civil service examination and other competitive examinations. It helps the students to improve their communication skills and presentation skills. The CGPC facilitates the students/alumnae to get recruited in different sectors through on-campus and off-campus drives.
