Dr.M. Vasuki is the Vice Principal of Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College. She is also in-charge of the Self-financed section of the college. She is the head of the postgraduate and research department of Chemistry, Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College. She did her postgraduation and research programme at Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College, Tiruchirappalli. Her teaching experience spans for more than three decades. Her areas of specialization are Physical Organic Coordination and Environmental Chemistry.
She is the Board of Studies member of Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli and is also a member of the Board of Studies of many colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu. She has a rich administrative experience in the college. She had been the coordinator of the Foundation for Academic Excellence and Access (FAEA) at the college level. She is a co-ordinator of DST- FIST project at the college level and has served as a co-ordinator of Internal Quality Assurance Cell. She had been an active member of the Campus Diversity Initiative Project (CDI) sponsored by the FORD foundation. She is the senate member of Bharathidasan University and a member of Staff Selection committee and governing body nominee. She has been the member of Inspection Commission for the grant of provisional affiliation for establishing a new self-financing College.
She has convened numerous conferences and seminars in the college. She has published her research findings in reputed international and national journals. She has been the principal investigator of several UGC sponsored research projects. She has produced many M.Phil. scholars and is guiding Ph.D. research scholars.
