Co-ordinator
Smt. Vasantha Panchapakesan, the First Lady of this complex, is the Co-ordinator of Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College. She supports the faculty, staff and students, in all their endeavours and offers good guidance with a futuristic approach.
She provides a family ambience to the various units of the institutions with her penchant for solidarity and insists on the inter-dependence among faculty, staff and students.
Executive Director
Sri. Ramani Panchapakesan is the Executive Director of Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College. He did M.S. programme in Computer Science at Rochester Institute of Technology, USA. He has held senior management positions in renowned companies in US and India.
He is interested in
- Motivating and supporting all the quality activities of the institution
- Caring for the all round development of students
- Giving equal opportunities to all learners
- Creating an amiable academic ambience, conducive for the teaching-learning process in the campus
Director- Academics
As Director - Academics, Dr.Kannan Panchapakesan provides insights and guidance to the Principal and the faculty, related to academic activities in the college. Of particular interest to him are the following areas:
- Making sure every student gets an equal opportunity to learn
- Creating an atmosphere where students enjoy the process of learning
- Improving the communication skills of students
- Developing the overall personality of students
- Making optimal use of available resources for the benefit of students
- Using technology in teaching
- Updating technical skills of the faculty
- Providing mentorship for junior faculty members
Dr.Kannan Panchapakesan earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona, USA. Additionally, he holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, USA, and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology - Trichy (formerly Regional Engineering College - Trichy).
